Whether it’s getting your nails done, refreshing your hair, or indulging in a facial, these small acts can help you feel your best. While none of this is required, it’s a wonderful way to get into the right mindset for your session and give yourself some well-deserved love.
When it comes to wardrobe, there’s no need to go out and buy brand new lingerie unless you want to! You’re welcome to bring your favorite pieces from home or explore our curated client closet! You also have the ability to make as many outfit changes as you’d like. There is no cap to how many outfits you can bring!
Your session is all about what makes you feel comfortable and empowered. Whether that means draping yourself in a soft sheet, opting for an “implied nude” look where we strategically position your hands, arms, or legs to create tasteful coverage, or spicy erotica; replicating a fantasy, the choice is entirely yours. Each moment will be tailored to your vision and comfort level, so you can fully embrace this empowering experience.
Upon arriving at the Bohemian Visions studio in Richmond, Virginia, you’ll be warmly greeted by our owner and photographer, Marie. She’ll guide you to our makeup and hair room, where your transformative experience begins.
As part of your boudoir session, professional hair and makeup are included to enhance your natural beauty. This is a collaborative process, ensuring that your look reflects your personal style, making you feel confident, radiant, and completely at your best!
Once your hair and makeup are complete, Marie, our owner and photographer, will guide you through the wardrobe options available in our curated client closet. You’re welcome to bring your own lingerie or any meaningful pieces, but you also have access to a variety of beautiful selections from our wardrobe.
After choosing your first outfit, you’ll be ready to begin your photoshoot!
Our unique studio offers over 12 stunning scenes for you to utilize during your photoshoot, including a custom copper tub for an unforgettable bath scene if you desire. The studio is designed with perfect lighting and ambiance to set the mood for your experience. We engage all your senses—from sultry fragrances to sexy playlists—to help you relax and get in the perfect frame of mind.
One of the most common questions we get is about posing. If you’re not feeling confident in your ability to pose, don’t worry—you’re not alone! During your photoshoot, Marie will guide you through every step to ensure your photos turn out exactly how you envision. Consider me your ultimate hype girl!
The photoshoot itself typically lasts about 2 hours. Once we’ve captured every pose and utilized every scene you’d like, Marie will upload your photos right away, giving you a sneak peek the same day!
After the shoot, Marie will personally guide you through selecting your favorite images. Depending on the package you choose, you’ll have the option to create beautiful albums, stunning wall art, and more.
