Bohemian Visions was created from a belief that photography can change the way a woman sees herself.
For many women, life becomes a series of responsibilities. Careers, relationships, family, and expectations often leave little space to reconnect with their own identity and presence.
Boudoir photography, when approached with intention, becomes more than a photo session. It becomes a moment of reflection and rediscovery.
Bohemian Visions was built to create that moment.
Before founding Bohemian Visions, Marie Malvoisin served twenty years in the United States Army, including deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. As a company commander, she was responsible for 180 Soldiers and $15 million in equipment and assets. The precision, calm leadership, and attention to detail shaped during those years now inform the private, thoughtfully guided experience she creates for every client.
Marie is the founder, creative director, and Certified Professional Photographer behind Bohemian Visions Studio & Gallery, a luxury boudoir and intimate portrait studio in Richmond, Virginia, serving women and couples throughout Virginia and the DMV.
Photography began as a creative outlet and became something more purposeful. Marie saw how intentional portraiture could give women space to step outside the responsibilities, expectations, and roles they carry every day and see themselves more clearly.
Through Bohemian Visions, she creates cinematic, artfully directed portraits that preserve more than appearance. They hold confidence, intimacy, presence, and the person you are in this chapter of your life.

Years later, that philosophy became part of the foundation of Bohemian Visions. Not because photography created the belief, but because the studio was built from values Marie already carried into her own life.
