Bohemian Visions was created from a belief that photography can change the way a woman sees herself.

Bohemian Visions was built to create that moment.

Marie Malvoisin is the creative director and founder of Bohemian Visions, a bespoke boudoir photography studio based in Richmond, Virginia.

Before becoming a photographer, Marie spent twenty years serving in the United States Army. Her military career instilled a deep sense of discipline, leadership, and attention to detail that now informs every aspect of her work.

Photography began as a creative outlet but quickly became something more meaningful. Marie recognized how powerful it could be when women are given the opportunity to see themselves through a different lens.

What started as a passion evolved into a mission: to create an experience where women could reconnect with their confidence, beauty, and strength.

Marie’s work blends artistic storytelling with thoughtful direction.

Clients are guided through a carefully curated experience designed to help them feel comfortable, confident, and fully present during their boudoir photoshoot. Every detail, from lighting and set design to wardrobe and posing, is crafted to create images that feel authentic and timeless.
